Measurement and Control Device and System Lab (MCDL), and Test Center of Measurement and Control Device and Network in Machinery Industry (TCDN) were established in 2006, affiliated to ITEI. Committed to standards research and development, testing and certification for PROFIBUS, MODBUS, KNX, safety, EMC, and functional safety etc,  MCDL/TCDN is a neutral third party, non-profit testing organization, featuring a number of testing laboratories, over 400 top-notch testing equipments, and many engineers, senior engineers, and staff with doctor and master degree. MCDL/TCDN is capable of conducting and presenting authoritative reports on the following tests: certification tests for the industrial control network of PROFIBUS, MODBUS, KNX etc.; safety and EMC tests for information technology equipment and electrical devices for measurement, control and laboratory use; reliability tests for military electronic products; environmental tests for electrical and electronic products.

PROFIBUS and MODBUS Lab

PROFIBUS and MODBUS Lab is the first test lab on industrial control networks and fieldbus in the field of industrial automation in China, recognized by China National Accreditation Service (CNAS). It has included the PROFIBUS and MODBUS control network into the national laboratory accreditation system for the first time in China, thus providing a strong support for the application of these two industrial communication technologies and their related products. 
In April 2006, MODBUS Test Lab won the authorization of the MODBUS IDA, thus is qualified to conduct with MODBUS testing system, according to GB/T 19582.1, GB/T 19582.2, GB/T 19582.3 standards, certification tests for the communication protocol conformance and interoperability of industrial automation products. In October 2007, PROFIBUS Test Lab won the authorization of PNO, and thus is qualified to conduct with PROFIBUS testing system, according to GB/T 20540.1, GB/T 20540.2, GB/T 20540.3, GB/T 20540.4, GB/T 20540.5, GB/T 20540.6 standards and PROFIBUS PA profile V3.01, certification tests for the communication protocol conformance and interoperability of industrial automation products.

 

Electrical Safety Test Lab

Electrical Safety Test Lab is equipped with testing devices that meet the requirements of GB4943/IEC/EN60950, GB4793/IEC/EN61010, including almost 100 devices, such as: Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO), projector, comprehensive tester, digital power meter, digital high voltage meter, oscilloscope, automatic leakage current tester, data collection instrument, voltage generator, surge tester, precision LCR digital bridge, electronic load, test needle/probe, push-pull gauge, hydraulic valve test bench, stability test bench, scratch tester, machine , X.γ radiation dosimeter, laser power meter, microwave energy leakage tester, power plug assembly test stand, power supply load cabinet etc. According to GB4943/IEC/EN60950, GB4793/IEC/EN61010 and GB/T 15969.2, the Lab can conduct safety tests and CQC certification tests on information technology equipment products; it can also conduct certification tests for energy conservation products in offices, in accordance with CCEC/T 18, GB21521, CCEC/T 22, CCEC/T23, CCEC/T 24, CSC/T 31.

 

Environmental Test Lab

Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber:

Walk-in Chamber: Volume: 16 m3, temperature: -65℃~ +85℃, relative humidity: 20% ~ 95%;
Vertical Chamber: Capacity: 990 liters, temperature: -70 ~+180℃, relative humidity: 10% ~ 98%,

Alternating Temperature Chamber: Capacity: 70 liters (410mm×460mm×370mm), high temperature exposure: +60℃~+200℃, low temperature exposure: -70℃~0℃, temperature fluctuation range: ±0.5℃, recovery time: within 5 min.

In light of GB/T 2423.1, GB/T 2423.2, GB/T 2423.3, GB/T 2423.4, GB/T 2423.22, GB/T 2423.34, GJB150, GJB360A, GJB548B and corresponding test methods, the Chamber can conduct climatic and environmental tests for various types of electronic devices, instruments and meters, and military electronic products.

Environmental Test Lab can conduct mechanical environmental tests on various types of electronic devices, instruments and meters and military electronic products, according to the GB/T 2423.5, GB/T 2423.6, GB/T 2423.7, GB/T 2423.8, GB/T 2423.10, GJB150, GJB360A, GJB548B and corresponding test methods.

Sand and Dust Test Chamber; Salt Spray Tester:

Sand and Dust Test Chamber: volume: 1m3, temperature range: RT ~ 60 degrees, blowing sand wind speed: frequency control;
Salt Spray Corrosion Test Chamber: volume: 0.75m3, test temperature: RT~55℃, saturation temperature: RT~65℃, temperature uniformity: ≤2℃, temperature fluctuation: ≤±0.5℃;

Theses Test Chambers can conduct special environmental tests on various types of electronic devices, instruments and meters and military electronic products, according to the GB/T 2423.17, GB/T 2423.18, GB/T 2423.37, GJB150, GJB360A, GJB548B and corresponding test methods.

 

EMC Test Lab

EMC Test Lab consists of GTEM cells, shielding room and a full set of EMC testing devices, including RF power amplifier, power meter, electrostatic discharge simulator, surge generator, electrical fast transient/burst generator, conducted immunity test system, power frequency magnetic field generator, voltage dip simulator, receiver, etc.. All of these devices are the advanced EMC test equipments in the world.

Rain Test Chamber

Rain Test Chamber has an area of ​​70 square meters, equipped with such programmable-controlling and stainless-steel waterproof test equipments as vertical rain, pipe rain, spray, splash, flooding etc. It can conduct tests, at the customer’s requirement, on degrees of protection provided by enclosure at various levels, in accordance with the national standard (GB 4208), industrial standards, company standards, GJB150 or customer specific requirements.

 

Heat and Burning Test Lab

The Lab has a full range of heat and burning test equipments, including: Vicat Softening Temperature Tester, Glow Wire Tester, Horizontal-vertical Burning Tester, Tracking Tester, High Current Arc Ignition Tester, Hot Wire Ignition Test Instrument, Needle Flame Tester, Hot Oil Test Devices, etc.

The Lab can conduct such tests on the safety and heat-resistence grade of plastic/ electrical materials, in accordance with GB 11021, GB/T 11020, GB/T 4207, GB/T 1633, GB/T 2408, GB/T 5169.5, GB/T 5169.10, GB/T 5169.11, GB/T 5169.12, GB/T 5169.13, GB/T 5169.16, GB/T 5169.17, GB/T 5169.21.
